The original painting was born of a picturesque idea : using dice to generate random characters. One six sided die for size, a rainbow die to determine the main color, another one for the number of eyes, and the last one telling me if I’m going to draw an angel or a demon ; Each elf is the result of reading the dice roll and having fun with it.
I used ink pens and watercolors to create this piece.
